- I have an A3000/030/25MHz/100MB Quantum hard drive, WB v2.1, and it is
- soft-kicked (KickStart is in DEVS:). Recently when I first turn the
- computer on (cold-boot), after a few seconds the screen appears and looks
- like the old WB 1.2 screen with the blue/orange colours. It's not even
- the full Workbench screen, but rather just the initial window that
- appears, like a full-screen CLI with just the cursor sitting at the
- prompt. Also, the date that appears at the top of this window is
- 1989...
-
- What would be causing this? This has happened a few times since I turned
- reselection OFF on my SCSI devices (hard drive, Zip drive).
-
- Please e-mail me with any ideas/remedies...
-
- Thanks.
